My name is Alice, and I am a proud mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, friend, aunt, cousin, transracial adoptee, colleague, advocate, and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I embrace my Black and Latino heritage, which shapes my identity and passion for my work.
Born and raised in West Denver, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in social work from Metropolitan State University of Denver, focusing on Child Welfare, and my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver, specializing in interpersonal trauma studies.
I currently run a private therapy practice in Denver, providing individual therapy for adults & teens (13+).
During a service-learning trip to Ghana, I encountered the quote "Hye Won Hye, "meaning "that which cannot burn." This inspired me to believe in our innate resilience to overcome adversity. I believe therapy is about exploring and uncovering the essence of who you are, before the world and experiences shaped your identity. It's a journey to rediscover yourself.
I understand that challenges like depression, anxiety, grief, loss, and trauma can leave you feeling overwhelmed. I am here to walk alongside you, supporting you through your healing journey.
If you feel I can be of support, please reach out for a free 15-minute virtual consultation.
